9 month picture - 9-2-2009

Well, this will probably be the last update before Amelia is born; we're glad that we were able to get a picture for each month of the pregnancy. These last few weeks we've had weekly appointments with our doctor, and everything has been checking out great. One surprise we got at our most recent appointment was an ultrasound; this was the first time we got a chance to see Amelia since April.

If you turn your head to the left, you'll be looking her straight in the face. The picture isn't great, but everytime the doctor tried to take a picture she would put her hands up in front of her face -- she must be camera shy. The doctor also commented on her "chubby" cheeks, which Jill had as a baby.

Other than that, things have been going well, and we're hoping to welcome Amelia to the world very soon. The absolute latest she'll be born is 9/17, since the doctor said that they would induce Jill on the evening of the 16th if she hadn't delivered yet. The next post on this blog should have a real picture of Amelia, along with all of her stats. Wish us luck!
